This was probably the moment I felt most tied up in. It was a few months into the school year, and I had made a lot of artwork, but none of it seemed good enough for this series. I was angry, and I tried to capture that in this dark and authentic piece. I took about 20 photos of me screaming and chose one that looked the most like frustration. After drawing the photo with charcoal, I used glue to wrap the string around my face and hands, creating a more chaotic, suffocating feeling. (Charcoal and String)
